Sara
Hi, I’m Sara, and I’m a Content Manager here at MDPM. I was also the first employee brought on by Shauna and Jill, and boy, have we come a long way since then! Most of my job as a Content Manager involves writing the original, SEO-rich content you see on your blog every week. I also compose newsletters and articles for our clients. I’m so grateful to have worked with such a great team in an environment that pushes me to expand my skills.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a lover of the written word. I took every available journalism class throughout middle school and high school, and I eventually worked my way up to Editor-in-Chief of my high school newspaper. I had big dreams of New York City, a power suit, and calling the shots at a major publication, but after attending the University of Missouri to study journalism, I realized I wasn’t as passionate about it as I thought.
Prior to my junior year, I transferred to the University of North Texas, switched my major, and realized that I made the right decision. I recently graduated with a BA in English-Literature and a Spanish minor, and I’m currently adjusting to post-grad life and enjoying all of the new opportunities being thrown my way.
As if working at MDPM and blogging for our clients weren’t enough, I’m a blogger through and through and spend my free time writing for USA Today College and my own personal blog. Other things I love: traveling (9 countries and counting!), music, spending time with my sorority sisters, social media, reality television, beautiful stationary, Jane Austen and Shakespeare, and learning how to cook.
