Carissa, Content Manager
My name is Carissa and I’m a Content Manager at MDPM. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, with a major in advertising and minor in both marketing and Spanish.
In high school, I took a journalism class as an extra elective, and it ended up being my favorite class ever. I enjoyed creating ads and layouts, but after taking a few design classes in college, I decided I was better at writing. My professional writing experience includes writing magazine feature articles, advertisement headlines, website copy, and blogs.
Aside from work, I absolutely love to travel. The coolest things I’ve ever done were riding a zipline through the Costa Rican rainforest and hand-feeding a wild monkey. I also love movies, the beach, celebrity gossip, shopping, and my two dogs.
