Do you have a newsletter for your patients?

These days, e-newsletters are the way to go. Not only can people forward the newsletter with the click of a button, but they can also post articles to their Facebook and Twitter accounts. If a recipient does not want to receive an e-newsletter, he just opts out. Super simple.

With traditional print newsletters, you must pay for printing and mailing. Managing your own address list can be a hassle, as well. Some services will manage your list, create your newsletter, and mail it for you. That’s great, but not if you consider that most people will consider your newsletter junk mail. You may not want to believe it, but most of your beautiful newsletters will go straight into the recycle bin. What a waste!
In this paperless age, people use the Internet for news and mail. E-newsletters save trees, money, and time.

So how does the MDPM newsletter system work? We have two options, the Custom Dental Newsletter or our Have a Blast service.

Custom Dental Newsletter
This program is best for dentists who are transferring from a print newsletter to an e-newsletter or for those who want consistent, professional contact with all of their patients via email.

• You provide us with a digital spreadsheet (Excel file) of your patients’ emails. (Tip: Include inactive patients on the spread sheet.)
• We’ll use your logo and contact information to create the stationery on which your newsletters will be delivered.
• We call you for a brief interview once a month or quarterly, depending on the frequency of your newsletter distribution. During the interview, a dental copywriter will gather all the information we need to compose a completely custom newsletter for your dental patients. The writer can offer guidance on what type of content is best.
• You will have an opportunity to proof your newsletter content (articles and photos) prior to distribution.
• We can create a poll for your newsletter recipients if you’d like.
• Through tracking reports, we can determine who opens your newsletter, who forwards it, which links are clicked through, and the responses to your poll.
• We also place a subscription pop-up on your blog website so that people can opt-in online.
• We manage, update, and otherwise maintain your email list.
• There is no set-up fee and no monthly fee, and you pay $299 per issue for up to 1200 email addresses.

Have a Blast

• We will choose your most popular blogs, or you can submit special messages, to send to your email list twice each month.
• We can create a poll as one of your two monthly blasts, if you prefer.
• Through tracking reports, we can determine who opens your blast, who forwards it, which links are clicked through, and the responses to your poll.
• We also place a subscription pop-up on your blog website so that people can opt-in online for special news and offers.
• We manage, update, and otherwise maintain your email list.
• There is no set-up fee, and the monthly fee is $99.
